Trying to sort out the endless fuel options (ignoring the firebox recipes):

Back to fun, I grabbed a heap of Natura berries and threw them in squeezer. Darn, maloberries are not squeezable and those are the ones I have the most of. Still, it's nice to turn them into SOMEthing.
Did a lot of research (as you can see), then built up my IC2 lab: MFE + 3 solar panels on roof, to LVX to BatBox. I made Worktables with related groups of recipes: 1) forestry machines, 2) various machine blocks & frames, 3) basic IC2 machines, 4) RE battery / generator / solar panels / wind mills, and 5) mixed metal ingots and carbon plate steps. I really love those Worktables, each takes the place of 6 Project Tables, so easy to use I made a spotlight video for them (and the super-fun Clipboard).
Added basement under sawmill, added 3 squeezers there. Will take some fiddling to find a good solution to storing those liquids.
Then a fun run with mining turtle to bottom of the world, goodies found: 6 force gems, 5 diamonds, 64+64+19 redstone, 41 sulfur, 9 shards, 1 uranium, 19 coal, ores: 2 Al, 10 ferrous, 28 Fe, 2 cinnabar. The oreberry bushes do seem to produce much better in low light, and they've even grown an extra block or two lately. Anyway, it's late, gotta get some rest.
Darn it, my thermal expansion lab blew up. I guess you can't trust the stirling engines anymore! I lost two machines, my whole chest of ingots and fuel (maybe about 200 items total), all my conductive pipes. Huh. That's a pisser. Maybe switch to force engines, biogas engines, or clockwork engines to avoid these stupid messes.
