10/12 Hexxit video backlog - episodes 1 thru 5
Oddly busy day for a Saturday, looking for a new bed in the real world. Rather than spending hundreds of $$$ I can't really afford, I just wanted to take some wood and some wool and craft a bed myself.
I've been reviewing my backlog of video sessions. Looks like I have 11 episodes of Hexxit adventures. Some sound glitches on the first few, but it's an epic almost hour-long battle in a "better dungeon". The sound was a really obscure problem: Bandicam was recording the mic and the game sound on two audio tracks, which played back fine in Windows Media Player ... but my quick video editor (VideoPad for now) was not ouputting the 2nd audio track, so all game sound vanished. Fixed it, then I tackled a Battle Tower and unleashed the golem, and got out with barely half a heart left. Then ran around marking even more places for future battles and demos.
Then there was a session with me and faucher_ak adventuring together. Great battles, but the sound bombed. That's a pity. It would be a bit lame to redub the thing and lose some of the original funny reactions, but you can barely hear our original voices ... frankly I was going for silence but the laptop's built-in mic picked up some sound. Yeah, I probably will strip the original sound and do a fresh new play-by-play voiceover. Otherwise, it's about an hour of epic battles and daring escapes that just go in the trash.
Anyway, Here are the first few episodes of my Hexxit survival adventures:
Minecraft Left's Play ... Hexxit, part 1: - part 2 - part 3 - part 4 - part 5
