Bedrock Insanecraft pack 1.5 - Dragonrider

1/9/2024

2412 66 1911: A big food market spawned inside a village in the icy waste, wrecking crops, burying a few villagers and animals.

I found a dragon and got out of the area before nightfall.

1844 118 1160: village.

Boy the dragon made quick work of the rest of the trip.  10 88 6 is just another treetop in a forest.

202 63 694: another village.  It took 4 stacks of cobble walls to rope it in.  It has a lava pool, iron golem, nearby ruined portal frame, and a huge tree just spawned.

Overall, InsaneCraft is probably at the limit of these Bedrock add-ons can do.  It has nowhere near the depth of Java packs.  It has about 15 new foods with somewhat nonsensical recipes, where the old classic Harvestcraft even 10 years ago had 30+ fruit trees, 50+ new crops and over 300 food recipes.  CrazyCraft had all the extra mobs and dimensions, better weapons and about the same range of vehicles.  InsaneCraft did these things very well: dragons, zombies, orcs and vehicles.  Their structures are a lot of fun to explore, but those random city blocks in the middle of nowhere are very out of place ... and there is also the huge hazard of a structure spawning and destroying your base or a village or other structures.  I may visit again later, but I feel like I've seen what I need to see.

Jan 28 update:

Just a quick visit.  I generated a very well designed ogre arena not far from that last village, then found another village at -276 68 703.  I would spend more time at some of these places except for the feeling that more structures will spawn and destroy whatever I just worked on.

What would be amazing is if we could get an item, like in the Prefab mod, that would let us spawn specific structures where we wanted them, preferably snapped to a grid, so we could build up the item from stacks of materials and then click to spawn whichever city blocks we wanted, WHERE we wanted them.  Or if the structures would at least remember when previous structures spawned and not create another one within 128 blocks or so.
