VeeTech modpack creation continued

I had a problem shutting down server, a conflict between InfernalMobs and extraBees.  Take out the magicBees mod file.

I ran around a bit more, saw almost no animal spawns, possibly because those only happen in vanilla biomes.  I shot a centipede outside my little mining stop.  Digging is fun again in this world.  I found both types of bone/fossil ore, one that drops skulls and bones (bone pile), and the grey one ("fossil") that drops bio-fossils and relic scraps and big skulls (and bones).  Found copper ore and tin ore (odd colors: yellow orange and white), two diamond ores in a cleft at 67y, and some thaumcraft air shards.  The power mitts are great for slicing through dirt and gravel, and for collecting clay.  Brown tin ore and brownish orange copper ore.  More fossil blocks.  Down deep, y15 or so, started finding essence ore (magical crops mod).  More diamonds, which can occur at any level in Hexxit.  More fossils.  Power ore from DartCraft!  Skulls and glowshrooms from Wild Caves mod.  A neat variety.

I still have not seen any infernal mobs.

Server shut down without a problem this time.

My first infernal mob: a cloaking skeleton in a dark cave.  Fun.  Various kills have dropped hearts (LegendGear), essences (magical crops), and some things from other mobs.

Cheating myself some gadgets just for testing ... I was able to safari net a blue slime (natura) and a fox (project zulu).  Both would spawn in an MFR auto-spawner, but the MFR breeder (and Railcraft feed station) did not know what to feed them (or my new gorilla), and the MFR grinder would not touch them either.  I really wanted to do automated alligator farms, and weird stuff like that.  There still may be a way.  I can certainly spawn them after I catch one, but that's it for automation, other than maybe water traps with lava blades.

Okay let's try Balkon's weapons mod, Mo Foods and FoodPlus ...

Reassign their blocks to 480 to 492.
Conflict: now 9 force nuggets = 1 dino steak!!  I don't know what mod that is from, but I reassign force ingot to 31940 (from 31740)
java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 32196 in DartCraftCore, reassigned it to 4000, but it came up as 4256 in NEI.

Ok.  Mo Foods Mod added some trees and recipes, but all the graphics are so poor, they look out of place in this world.  So, it's out.  Try FoodPlus again.  Now the force wrench recipe gives fish and chips!!

Renumber all FoodPlus items from 3800 to 3872, the NEI ID dump said those ids are all unused.  I'm not sure why the mods end up assigning their ids all over the damn place.  Some bounce from 5000s to 31000s to 8000s.  Can't they just request some block of X available ids and fill them in sensibly?

Nope, now the DartCraft recipes are back but none of the FoodPlus recipes show up in NEI.  FoodPlus is off the island.

Try Harvestcraft again?  It really is the biggest and best tree/crop/food mod.  Conflict with Steve's Carts id 4086, reassign his ids to 4000-4020 span.

Reassign all MrCrayfish's items from 40XX to 38XX, his hard-to-find file is cfm.cfg.

Id 4090 clashes with chisel mod.  For some reason his last few ids hopped up from 2785 to 4090, when 2786 through 2799 are unused.

And the mods are all working together peacefully!

Need a lot of testing though.  This modpack will be:
- an adventurer's dream (all the Hexxit castles and fortresses and Battle Towers, walker armies and infernal mobs, and Twilight Forest, Mystcraft, Dimensional Doors and even a Dinosaur Dimension);
- a builder's dream (with railcraft and chisel mod, hundreds of new blocks and bricks to build with);
- a joy for people who collect plants and animals (Project Zulu, Harvestcraft, Fossil/Archeology, natura, forestry);
- a mad scientist joyride (instead of loading up on those forestry bees, I went with two different mods with prehistoric animals and weird genetics);
- a magic lover's fun pack (Better Dungeons magic, magical crops, thaumcraft, Soul shards, Dartcraft, Minions, Xeno's Reliquary);
- a weapon crafter's dream (Asgard Shields, Balkan Weapons Mod, Artifice, Legend Gear, hunter's handguns);
- a decorator's challenge (McCrayfish's Furniture, Better Storage, Bibliocraft);
- and a technology tinkerer's toolkit (Tinker's Construct, Factorization, Buildcraft, Railcraft, Steve's Carts, Minefactrory Reloaded, Dartcraft).

I didn't want to go high tech with IndustrialCraft2, mainly because that introduces the whole alternate power system (EU power).  But there is currently no power storage solution.  I would like to get Thermal Expansion added in, and if so, ditch Fatcorization (again because it has a different power system).  Other than that, I'm happy with the huge variety of possibilities.

Overall, I was going for a Build a Civilization challenge of epic proportions, because you will be building in a dangerous world that can turn crazy at any time.  Can't wait to give it a serious test run tomorrow.
