Overgrown 2026: Snow Golem Village??

I'm overworked and a bit under the weather, and have not been able to come up with any big projects in my head the last few days.  There are no really big tech builds to do in this pack, there's really only EnderIO for grinding.  Fortunately, we can just wander and find cool things to do.

I would like to gather all the armor from chests all over my towns and put them on stands around the rooftops of key buildings, for a splash of color.  I was reading up on Pinkly Sheep and always wanted to build a fishing trawler (customizable mass auto fishing) machine.  But of course that's a crazy grind to get to:

- need to make a patch of pinkly mycelium: soak mycelium with rainbow slurry to get rainbow wisps

- ABA/-C-/ABA (rainbow wisp, pink wool, gold nugget) = 2 mending twine

- ABA/BCB/ABA (iron nugget, string, mending twine) = reinforced twine

- AAA/A-A/AAA (reinforced twine) = trawl netting

- AAA/BCB/AAA (trawl netting, stone button, dispenser) = trawl station

- A--/BA- (trawl netting, chest) = empty trawl crate (these hold the stuff fished up my the trawler)

- Aw, hell: rainbow slurry is ...

   AA-/BC-/DE- (lots of pinkly caca, vermi cake, moo shroo poo, water, bucket)

   and what are those odd things, you ask?

   - vermi meal comes from farming worms

   - x9 = packed vermi meal

   - AAA/AAA/BC- (packed vermi meal, some dirt, sticky lil poops) = vermi cake

   - moo shroo poo is pooped out my mooshrooms, so I need some of those guys

   - and the "lots of pinkly caca" is 81 pinkly poo


Well, darn.  Both types of armor stands suck in this version.  The armor is twitchy and bent and messed up.  And when I break an armor stand, I get two of each thing, so that's a bug.

I setup a new building for fossil tree wood, using the woods themselves.

Oddly, I see that a spice leaf + cutting board = 3 slices of pizza.  Obviously a glitch.  I accidentally clicked the chest with the cutting board and see that it can be placed in the world, and looks pretty darn good.  I would think that's the Placeable Items mod, but do they support Harvestcraft items?

To wrap up the night, I went out exploring.  Off to Albertville, then the dungeon house on the frozen waste at (-314 81 -2832).  I cleared and mapped out the first two floors.  There's a good range of rooms down there: kitchen, garden room, furnace room, jukebox room, etc.  A person could almost go out there and live for a weekend getaway.  There are penguins on the snow field outside, ice spikes right up to the stairs, and a dude with a tar pits to harvest tar drops.  Animania wolves, Jersey cows & foxes, with some vanilla polar bears.  Some clouds to raid: I picked up  the saddle pet, mooshroom pet and house pet.  An enchanted forest with lots of highland cows at (123 64 -2997).  Who knew those wastes were such a gold mine of different animals?  Also a few dig sites out there.



And here's the weirdest thing of the week... a small town of igloos and an ice block with an ankh-shaped statue of snow inside, populated by snow golems.  So, there's a town of snow golems out here.  I have never seen such a thing in any other world. The main igloo has a cauldron over a fire, a bunch of snow dudes and an iron golem.  There are a few chests, but they just have fishing rods, fish and ink sacs.  Glad I went out for a trip around the block.

High altitude forest at (483 134 -2579).  Black pigs.  Hundreds of vanilla trees but no Harvestcraft fruit trees spawning.

I swung back around and ended up at my Prefab home in Aden.  Dropped a half a bag of stuff into the sorting chests.
